How your bees doing did you get the queen next time you should spend more
time finding the queen then the rest of the bee will do this thing called a
march and go to the queen. Good job tho must of bin stressful with the kids
around hope to see an update vid.
you put the comb in the frames sideways, better to keep it right side up 🙂
Also if you spray them with a bit of sugar water while in the vacuum
bottle, less go in the air when you pour them into the hive
Nice video! 🙂 I had a hive removed from my portable BBQ several years
ago and the guy made only one trip and no bees returned. It was a smaller
hive that fit into a 5 gallon bucket.
‘yo gotta try one of those babies’ – i was just like, “does this kid know
what they’re eating?” but a really cute video, its the sort of thing is
like to do with my family, you all seem to have such a good relationship.
and im happy ur taking your ‘fair share’ of the honey, im glad to see you
care about the bees and not just making a profit from as much honey as
possible.
After you vacced up the bees from the shed, why did you open the new hive
and dump the bees right outside their old hive into the new hive box?
Couldn’t you have collected the bees using the vac and have driven to your
friends of friends property and then transported the bees? Did you ever
find the queen, or do you think she was still in the shed wall somewhere.
It was certainly and interesting video!
Nice work, I was called two times in the past to do the same. But i don´t
understand why you keep all that old breeding cells and put them in frames
and into boxes. The bees are really good in starting a new hive in a box,
when you only catch them an put them on frames with wax foundations. It
even is more easy for them to start a new one, they only have to be fed.
I´d have melted the old cells and made foundations from the wax. It is more
helpfull for the bees to build new cells and it is better for their heatlh.
Very informative video for a newby.
Wow how beneficial bees are to us. Great video guys.
Well done guys. I wonder why the bees are so chilled out.
Woo! woo!

Ship to 8:35 to see into the hive : )
Must have been really fun growing up in that farm. :)
What a great thing you did for those bees and US! What would we ever do
without the honeybees?!!! Thanks P&J!

Interesting that the adults are wearing protective gear however, the kids
are not.
