Lived in Corvallis for 12 years, it’s a fantastic place. Wonderful place to
live. There’s community resources everywhere, for just about anything. I
also used to work at the homeless youth shelter there. Corvallis takes care
of its people. Wonderful place to raise kids, good school system. Just
fantastic
SOB I miss Corvallis it is amazing.
I keep having visions of a job, but all I see are Echoes of The Occupation.
What is the job climate there in Corvallis? I would love to move to Oregon
and the town’s size is just perfect and looks very safe and convenient. ;o)
why does it stink? I may have gotten a job at the university – there and
although its a pretty sweet deal, moving to a small town is sort of a
pretty big step for me. Anything related with schools and children is
pretty irrelevant, so whats the normal single person’s life like?
Dull, boring place. Nothing but vanilla suburbia, a lot of self-satisfied
pretentious snobs and way too many police with nothing better to do but
hand out out tickets like the glorified meter maids that they are.
