@awesometutorials101 great question – i think Auction Hunters – although a
very entertaining show – is NOT reality; not even close. Storage Wars at
least shows the good, bad and ugly sides of storagfe auctions. AH shows
nothing but the best of the best. I’ve seen units sell for as little as a
dollar and the highest I’ve seen somebody bid was $8000+. Average over all?
I’d say 5-600
@turboman8082 LOL – I was confusing Bellagio with Borgata which is in AC.
Anyhoo…
Darrell Sheets from Storagewars won a $350 or so bid on one storage unit
and he found a coin collection worth $30,000.
@ottawadigs Yeah, I saw that episode. I love what he was doing with it too.
Remember what he did with that find?
@ottawadigs yeap keep it for his granddaughters education I’d do the same
thing
@ottawadigs yeah, that was a real nice gesture on his part. After all, it
was silver the value of which will only keep rising so it was a smart move..
That’s awesome! You found $41 and only paid $25. Great find 🙂
How good do shows like Storage Wars or Auction Hunters represent what it’s
like in reality? What would you say the average unit sells for?

when you find ike dollars i would look for a silver rim, it makes them
worth like 20 bucks.
