Letting the mother raccoon relocate her young to another den site? I know
you mean well, but that is such a bad idea. That other den site is very
likely to be a neighbor’s house or yard. You don’t do that to your
neighbors. Instead, why not trap them all and relocate them several miles
away from human habitations? And if that’s illegal in your state, then you
have to shoot them. But letting them stay in the neighborhood to become
someone else’s problem, that’s just wrong.

Raccoons are extremely intelligent. They learn that going into attics
endangers their babies and move into a natural habitat farther away from
the humans so they won’t take her babies. Thats why they let them just go
to a new den site. The mother thinks a natural habitat would be safer than
    another attic.
